What does the Pentagon shape you have adopted represent to your organization? The pentagon other than representing the head quarters of the US Military has other meanings if properly researched. Most of these meanings assigned to the pentagon shape are not religious friendly, if fact some meanings of the pentagon shape represent the absence of God or Atheisms. I was just curious why you adopted this shape to represent your organization. I did not like the message about wreaths across America coming out of your organization. I believe there are too many people objecting about too many things today. I dont have any real objection to your use of the pentagon shape to represent you, but I am proving a point that if you believe you are beyond anyone taking exception to your views, you are mistaken. So the question is who is right about what issue, and more to the point what issues are worth our effort to subvert? I believe that your organization has bigger fish to fry than objecting to a wreath laid at the base of a Jewish soldiers grave, especially when in our ignorance we did so to honor them. Please see my post under wreaths across America. Thank you.

Your organization is the atrocious one and your argument to support your view against wreaths is pathetic. The dead aren’t being forced to do ANYTHING!! They’re DEAD. If a veteran’s family is offended for some reason, they are free to remove the wreath. And by the way, wreaths have nothing to do with religion. It’s very much secular.

  3. Theron December 9, 2021 at 2:56 am

Everyone sins, JESUS is our only way to heaven. Unfortunately anyone who died not believing in Jesus won’t have eternal life in heaven. So no matter a wreath laid on their resting place, which is public property, it won’t matter. Their families should understand Jesus and hopefully change their views to have salvation, so the wreath may spark a question and that question leads them to the Lord. That would be glorious wouldn’t it? For someone to start living their life for Jesus, like Jesus. Loving each other, holding others accountable, being morally righteous and good. We would have a much better world If everyone would accept Jesus. The 1st Amendment doesn’t mean, no religion in government. It doesn’t mean that government can’t support Christianity. It means the government can’t force someone to follow Christianity and it means that the government can’t make up a religion and force others to follow it. Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion. Meaning, they can’t make one, or force you to follow one. It does not mean a separation of church and government. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this. It’s very Constitutional to have prayer before meetings, to have wreaths on National Cemeteries, or to have the 10 Commandments on public ground. Never mind that is not in the Constitution, it was a letter Jefferson wrote the church to tell them to build a wall so thick it can not be penetrated by government, hence separation of church and state. Do not allow government to change or manipulate Faith. Not the other way around. Please show where in the Constitution it says a separation of church and state? I’ll help, it doesn’t. Your intentions are misguided and simply put wrong. I hope you all find God and Jesus and can have ever lasting life in heaven.

A wreath placed on someone’s grave, other than yours, does not in any way affect you. How about minding your own business “Mikey”, and not everyone else’s? Maybe someone should shove a wreath up your a**…. oh wait…. no room in there due to your head being stuck in it!

  5. Charles Goodson December 9, 2021 at 6:09 am

No way in hell do I approve of what you are doing! Commemorations are for all military regardless of what faith each may have.
This is hate for the remembrances of all that gave their life. Unbelievable.

  6. Don Brashears December 9, 2021 at 7:28 am

You too are wrong and one day will give an account to o your maker. A patriot you are not. Just a small insignificant voice. Your words are hurtful to people already hurting. May God show you how wrong you are.

  7. M. Hill December 9, 2021 at 2:49 pm

Why? Just why. Who brought up objections to the wreath laying on graves? Does your organization think there are volunteers with ulterior motives going to the cemetery, in the middle of winter, laying wreaths down?
If families object let them then remove it.

  8. Concerned veteran wife December 10, 2021 at 3:40 am

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard in a long while! A nice group tries to do something to honor soldiers and you have an issue?

Wow, take a Midol and relax! Not everyone is out to get ya! How about focus on the atrocities Jewish Americans face here in the US from anti-Semitic attacks rather than old ladies putting Christmas wreaths on Jewish faith soldiers’ graves!

    You sad sad little man!

  9. Grey One Talks Sass December 10, 2021 at 9:47 am

I was going to leave the comments on this post alone as they are the usual Christian Nationalist talking points. We’ve read and responded with logic both Constitutional and Biblical and the Nationalists either ignore our pearls of wisdom or call us poopy heads before flouncing back to their space under their rock.

And then I read this: “ Wow, take a Midol and relax! Not everyone is out to get ya! How about focus on the atrocities Jewish Americans face here in the US from anti-Semitic attacks rather than old ladies putting Christmas wreaths on Jewish faith soldiers’ graves!”

Aside from the misogyny oozing from a self professed female poster I’m struggling with the idea that anti-Semitism has to be an ‘in one’s face attack’ but the practice of dishonoring a Jewish grave site with Christian decorations is no big deal.

Aren’t both examples of how Christian Nationalists do their best to erase all other faiths but their own?

It is hubris to assert your own death rituals are the rituals of all when that is not in fact true.

Perhaps these Christian Nationalists need to reread the parts of their holy book that talks about walking in another’s shoes. Or perhaps they need to read their Lord and Saviors words advocating being kind to each other.

I won’t hold my breath because as we all know, Christian Nationalists aren’t about their Christ, it’s all about control and power; hence Christian holiday representations placed on graves of veterans who were never Christian.

When you took your oath let’s recap
I STATE YOUR NAME do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States agains all enemies foreign and domestic that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me according to the regulation and the Uniform Code of Military justice So help me GOD now did or did everyone take that oath ? Remember the words GOD So don t tell me about what you think everyone thinks the same way you do

  11. Mark Sebree December 10, 2021 at 6:19 pm

    Ty,

The line “So help me god” is not required, and can legally be omitted. You cannot seem to wrap your head around the fact that not everyone is required to think as you do, even though you act like you think that everyone has to think as you do.

Before you start curse others for calling out christian privileges, try flipping the script. What is a Muslim organization decided to decorate all the national cemetery graves for Ramadan? Placing traditional Muslim decorations on the graves and headstones? Would you be upset about that? Why? After all, it is exactly the same thing that Wreaths Across America is doing, except that it is a different religion.

MRFF would be using the same arguments against the hypothetical Muslim group as WAA. The difference is that you would agree with them in that case. This means, of course, that you do not support religious freedom, where all religions are treated equally, but christian privilege, where christianity is not treated as other religions, and is held to a much lower standard.

  12. Lenny Hayes December 12, 2021 at 10:20 am

You people are ridiculous!!! Self righteous wannabes in the publics eye just to be in the publics eye! Narcissistic are we? How about fight a real cause and do some good in the world instead of always bitching all the fucking time!!! You people live in the twilight zone… if you do not like the wreaths hell call them Holiday wreaths 🙄 it is more about honoring the fallen and remembering their sacrifices!! Instead of dumbass self righteous assholes such as yourselves can spew this garbage and ridiculousness! So no matter what religion They were how about instead of focusing on your war against Christ which one day you will regret and sadly be begging for mercy for your lunacy, how about recognize the good and the remembrance of American heroes which we choose to do no matter what faith you choose to worship!!!
So in your minds how about call them a Holiday wreath to make yourselves feel better and get the fuck over yourselves and your delusions of self importance!!!! I am a Christian and I will say Merry CHRISTmas however if you are not that is your choice just leave us the fuck alone!!! So Guess what, there will be wreaths that will be going on the graves no matter what you say or do because we honor the memories of our heroes snd love ones and nothing you say or do will
Change this! Americans will fight this lunacy…

  13. M. Caughlin December 12, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Honestly I doubt any soldier who is buried in a grave cares about if a wreath is put on it or not. I’m sure they would be just happy to be remembered. If you’re so gung ho about it why don’t you do something for the Jewish soldiers graves then? You seem to be an organization that just hates people. You don’t seem to do anything but be hateful. I feel sorry for you.

  14. Grey One Talks Sass December 13, 2021 at 1:26 am

    M. Caughlin, memorials are for the living, not the dead. The dead are dead. They can’t care anymore.

Your religious privilege is showing. How do you know other organizations aren’t out there recognizing the fallen within their faith?

You presume Christianity is the default, mistake righteous indignation for hate. What else do you get wrong? Oh yeah, the MRFF doesn’t hate, they defend citizens in the military from Christianists of higher rank forcing their faith on their subordinates.

Seems like a decent goal, what say you?

  16. Uriah Massey December 13, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Honoring this country’s fallen with a wreath is neither intolerant nor atrocious. Leave it to a lawyer to twist such an act into a violation of constitutional proportion.

Wreaths are not what’s wrong with the world… people like “Mikey” are.

  17. Ken December 14, 2021 at 11:14 am

Too many people running around trying to find things to be offended by. Spend the same energy creating a program to parallel Wreaths Across America by placing something meaningful on non-Christian headstones. Start building things up and stop tearing them down.

  18. Howe Dewey Cheatum December 14, 2021 at 11:50 am

In a time of ANTFA & BLM and the endemic corruption of our present political administration, here we have a friggen assclown 501c3 that has nothing better to do than play the, “Oh you need my permission to lay a wreath out of respect on an unknown tombstone in a National Cemetery with a Star of David”. Well the Jewish brothers who died in combat by our sides would tell you all, to go f**k your selves, and the beauty of this is how easy it is to bring a level of Corporate pain and burn up your financial resources by those patriotic soldiers you’ve now engaged. Why would you’re managing members invite the potential for hardened veterans to bring a response to your doorstep, the board members you’re firm’s family members and as you’re ineptitude is extraordinary, let’s all encourage senior executives, prior veterans, in appropriate Federal & State agencies to ensure your non profit is not a sham cover acting out of IRC compliance.

  19. Jason December 14, 2021 at 12:00 pm

Mikey “you” are exactly what is wrong with this country today. You are a disgrace to even call yourself an American, You should give thanks for every breath you even breathe because somewhere along the line a veteran has gave the ultimate sacrifice for you to be able to have such freedoms and live in the greatest country on earth. Sometimes you gotta look back and ask yourself am I, meaning you Mikey the problem.

  20. Greg December 14, 2021 at 1:02 pm

“Mikey” you and the rest of your organization are disgusting. To have the arrogance to assume you have the right to try to disgrace fallen veterans in this way shows you have forgotten or never learned what this country represents. Were you ever really in the military or have you ever served in a combat zone? I doubt it because your cowardice is evident to anyone who hears what you are spouting out of your vile mouth. The American flag and the US Constitution are not religious symbols and if you think they are, you are worshiping false idols. Enjoy hell asshole.

  21. Robin December 14, 2021 at 1:26 pm

Your group is lead by a Weinstein. Let its self is crazy. I am sure Michael did the same thing Harvey did. Who cares about wreaths. Get a life folks.

  22. Del December 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm

Let me ask you a question, if you’re laying in some LZ, or on a beach, a bridge, a field and a pile of rocks somewhere, covered in blood with your guts hanging out, gasping your last few breaths on this planet, are you going to be be so pathetically petty as to nix comfort from a priest, minister, rabbi, or mullah because they are not of your faith? Lighten up, Francis. It’s just a wreath and most normal people see it as a gesture of peace on Earth and goodwill to all men and women…, dead or alive.

  23. Joe Solomon December 14, 2021 at 2:22 pm

OH, good Lord…. Mikey I just found some “Jewish Carpet Bombs: and “Jewish Gang Signals” !!!!

I am so scared now I can’t leave my house!

Please stop these Jewish Gang symbols before we are all having to eat Ptcha.

    Save us, Mikey! Save us!

  24. Robert December 14, 2021 at 2:23 pm

You should be ashamed of yourself for saying what you said. If you don’t like Christians or what there doing keep your mouth shut. You don’t speak for military let the real military speak for themselves you keep quiet. I’ll let everyone I know about what you said and make sure no one donates to your organization. Christianity is not a gang it’s a relationship with the lord.

  25. Maureen December 14, 2021 at 2:30 pm

Thank you so much for what you are doing! I was thrilled that a group is finally standing up to the sham that Wreaths Across America (WAA) is. When I have posted against them on Facebook, I had to shutdown my personal page because I was bombard with evil wishes from its supporters.

WAA have framed their story as being generous to veterans and remembering the fallen, yet when you scratch the surface, it is primarily a way for the family that runs the “charity” to enrich their pockets (because they buy all the wreaths from another company that they own). This self-enrichment has been further exposed because they imported their wreaths overseas against the wishes of the French government (which was worried about invasive species). I also noted that when they first started, they made a point of not decorating veterans’ graves who weren’t Christian out of respect and because they viewed the wreath as a Christian symbol. However recently, they have reversed their stance on that because (I believe) it allows them to sell more wreaths and make a larger profit for the family.

Arlington wanted to stop it at one point because of the massive amount of damage caused by people running over the cemetery to place wreaths, but were shouted down by the supporters. These same supporters, who are eager to place the wreaths, vanish when it is time to clean up the mess that they created.

Even though my father, mother, two uncles, and two aunts are all buried at Arlington and all have crosses on their gravestones, I want the practice to stop. If people want to support the troops, then they should work on reducing the suicide rate of veterans, improving the conditions in base housing (which is in some cases covered in black mold), working on reducing the number of homeless veterans out there… I could go on, but forcing a wreath someone who never would have wanted it is not the spirit of Christmas.

  26. Joe Solomon December 14, 2021 at 2:34 pm

From the Internet (so it must be true!)

    “Jewish wreath
Wreaths are not a major motif in Judaism, but Jews used wreaths as holiday decorations and wedding accessories even in antiquity, when the Temple stood in Jerusalem. Although today wreaths are strongly associated with Christmas, Jews made wreaths for Shavuot and other festive occasions before the birth of Jesus.Nov 5, 2019”

What were Jews thinking all this time? They are defiling themselves with fkiwers, leaves and foliage!

MORE HERESY FROM THE INTERNET! MIKEY, GUARD YOUR EYES!

“wreath, circular garland, usually woven of flowers, leaves, and foliage, that traditionally indicates honour or celebration. The wreath in ancient Egypt was most popular in the form of a chaplet made by sewing flowers to linen bands and tying them around the head.

    wreath | floral decoration | Britannicahttps://www.britannica.com › Visual Arts › Decorative Art”

Save us from the foliage, Mikey! Its defiling the world! Its leaves and flowers that are destructive like carpet bombing Berlin, or marking territory for Druids!

  27. Joe Solomon December 14, 2021 at 2:47 pm

    To: Grey One Talks Sass

You aren’t even good being a sasser. What are you good at?

“Walk a mile in someones shoes” comes from the Native American culture, not the Bible.

There is no such thing as a “Christian Nationalist”. If anybody is trying to erase all religions outside Christianity they should be fired. Look at all the other religions popping up in a country built by Christians that insists on FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Go figure?

Silly paranoid atheists are the problem. They are defeated in their own heads.

I read a comment at the Jeruslame online newspaper where someone was telling Israelis in 2016 that Republicans want to replace the Constitution with the Bible. Its all lies from the left. Dirty politics.

But then faking outrage over honoring the dead with a wreath is dirty politics. Lets all get outraged! About something! I see flowers! I am angry!

  28. Joe Solomon December 14, 2021 at 2:59 pm

Mikey! I wasn’t going to post again so soon but I am terrified! I just found MORE JEWISH WREATHS! And they are selling these “gang symbols” as you called them on National TV, for a MERE $99! Thats so cheap we’re going to see “Jewish Carpet Bombing” (as you like to call it) everywhere!

What can we do? How can we go on?

Ebay: Hanukkah wreath, Chanukah wreath, Hanukkah decoration, Jewish holiday decoration

    vhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/143902672849?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28

Mikey you are not doing your job! This defiling of Jews must be taken down from Ebay! File suits, send letters of cease and desist! What are we paying you for Mikey? To sit on your butthurt all day? Get busy! Ebay is full of “gang symbols”!!

When are you going to take action?

    Asking for a friend!

  29. Vince December 14, 2021 at 3:02 pm

Wow, such hate-filled, inflammatory rhetoric/labels…”Christian gang-sign”? “Carpet-bombing”? Really? All of this uproar over a wreath laid at the grave-sites as an expression of Good Will, Love, Peace and Hope? And in this particular moment in history when we can use much more of all of these?…Thank you for revealing yourself, Mr. Weinstein, and your organization, to a much more more understanding, more grateful world than the one in which you apparently, reside…Great PR…Great messaging…

  30. Sue Anderson December 14, 2021 at 3:43 pm

This is the same message I left on the Fox Entertainment site:

My father served in the army in Korea. I realize that many of you feel that the wreaths are a lovely sentiment at this time of year. I totally agree! My family was Catholic, so there was no problem celebrating Christmas at our house. Unfortunately, my father left the church and did not want anything to do with religion. He would definitely NOT want a wreath on his grave and as I am many miles away from his grave, I hope no one places one there.

As free Americans, I would think that everyone would understand that not everyone wants the same things and we need to learn to accept those differences. My father loved the army and I have his purple heart hanging with his portrait in my home. He loved America, he loved hot dogs, apple pie and NASCAR. He did not love religion and should not be thought less of because of his personal belief. Each person should be respected for their personal point of view as long as it doesn’t cause harm to someone else.

Maybe next year something could be done to bring both sides of this issue together. They already made allowances for the Jewish graves, hopefully something can be done for the non-religious men and women. Please, in this divisive time in our country, we don’t need any more resentments to grow between people, nor fed by Fox Entertainment.

Let’s all have a peaceful Holiday season.

  31. Mike tilz December 15, 2021 at 7:11 am

As an athiest, I consider your statements and actions to be hateful and ignorant. You’ve proven yourself to be a complete douchebag and asshole. You obviously suck at life. I doubt you have any friends and if you do they probably speak ill of you when you aren’t around. I personally believe the Bible and all other religious texts are fantasy and fiction. However, most people do believe and that respect that. And when people of any belief want to honor our fallen vets I appreciate that and I say thank you. That’s what normal civilized people do. Do better and stop being a prick.

  32. Up Yours December 15, 2021 at 6:49 pm

    Let’s Go Mikey!

  33. Jojo December 15, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Let’s try a different way. James, what if I start an organization that places Pentagrams on the graves of vets. This would be hugely offensive.

I got no problem with you putting wreaths on graves that have a cross on them. But how dare you put your religion on my grandfather’s grave without his permission.

  34. MikeytheDooosh January 5, 2022 at 3:35 pm
