Hi Mikey,
I am moved this Memorial Day weekend to write and thank you (and all at MRFF) for your hard work to protect the rights of all Americans in the US military, according to the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.
Today, I visited the grave of an American hero, Roslyn Schulte, from St Louis, MO. She was a United States Air Force officer killed in action in the US war in Afghanistan, making her the first female United States Air Force Academy graduate to be killed by enemy action. She also happened to have been Jewish. I am a Christian, and this is why I am writing to you today.
Every Memorial weekend, I visit Roslyn Schulte’s grave at New Mt Sinai cemetery to honor her memory and her military service to protect American freedom. Throughout the 14 years since her death, I have visited her grave and seen it covered in lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, rose quartz, and other stones placed to honor the memory of Roslyn’s life. Some of us loved her, some of us were USAFA classmates, some of us served in Afghanistan with her, and many others of us never knew her personally, but place stones to honor her sacrifice for our freedom.
Thank you, Mikey, and to all at MRFF for all you do to protect the US military from Christofascists/white nationalists. Americans need to know that white nationalists and Christofascists are not actually Christians, nor are they American patriots.
All decent, patriotic Americans stand with you, MRFF.
Thank you.
