MRFF Announces Irving Halter, U.S. Air Force Major General (Ret.) and USAFA’s Former Vice Supt. as Esteemed New Advisory Board Member

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is overwhelmingly honored and privileged to announce the addition of my U.S. Air Force Academy Class of 1977 classmate, Major General Irving Halter (USAF-Ret.), to our Foundation Advisory Board.
Irv is simply one of the finest military leaders/commanders I have ever encountered in my entire life. His unassailable honor, character, integrity, intelligence, ethics, morality, compassion, empathy and pure leadership skills are beyond stellar in my non-trivial, personal experience.

Off topic as usual but the interesting part of the bio for me was the later transition, given the F4 and F15 experience to a Cessna 182 Skylane. My guess is “leisurely strolls in the park,” are preferable to the work required in “keeping ahead of the airplane.” I fly a 182 with fixed gear (insurance reasons), but am looking at a Columbia 400. Not sure if my old brain has the capacity for the relatively faster airplane.
I would argue; however, that the days of “let’s handle this internally” are behind us given the full frontal assault by Christian zealots pervasive in government today, no better example than the current SECDEF.
The former, “when they go low we go high,” is well beyond its shelf life, imo.
I’m sure MG Halter’s depth of knowledge and experience will bolster the MRFF team’s ability to counter the Dominionist challenges being presented in our military today, but I think I may be more inclined to a militantancy, in the public square, regarding challenges to the insidious nature of these Charlatan leaders hell bent on “killing the host” (the military) to bring about their deluded end-times fantasies, completely contradictory to their own deity’s imagined universal power.
These proselytizing Commanders should be rooted out, unfit to lead, unable to understand what an oath is, sunlight being the best disinfectant.
Welcome Major General Irving Halter (USAF-Ret.). High praise indeed from Mikey, that speaks volumes to how your addition to the foundation advisory board will benefit all.
Synergy, I believe the New Apostolic Reformation priest class and their Nationalist Christian foot soldiers are having a tough time of it lately. (trying not to giggle but… can we say unintended consequences?)
I concur, sunlight is the best disinfectant, and the light of day has been shining so bright, not a cloud in the sky.
Who knew MAGA would erupt when Bondi (because the FOTUS told her to do so) informed the American public that there was no Epstein client list? I mean, I saw it coming, did you?
Sun Tzu is very adamant – when you see your opponent making an error, let them. Addiction programs are equally firm – until an addict hits rock bottom you can’t assist them lest they pull you down too.
MAGA is flailing (the volume of ‘we were betrayed’ videos are increasing exponentially) which means the Nat-C’s in our military are faltering too. Oh, not those loyalists freshly minted for photo ops, but the rank and file? Mmm… would not want to be a fly in the room as discussions organically morph from the obvious cover up about the Epstein client list to what other lies were we told?
Gotta include this last part – WeThePeople will survive our current times. How? Community. Find yours and if you don’t have one, create one. Perhaps there are other like minded individuals waiting for you to take the lead.
Love may never be enough to get one through some of the most difficult times, but it’s also all you need.
What do I mean? When my late husband was dying from cancer the drugs he took to fight the disease changed him. The disease itself changed him and I had to fall in love again and again with the new normal of the man I married and sometimes that wasn’t a sure thing. Old Marine, biker, warrior. Dude did some stuff on behalf of the alphabet soup gang in Central America back in the day and it weighed on him, just saying.
Money was an issue always and I wasn’t always up to the task of dealing with some of the effects of cancer (when you know, you know). Love was all we needed to get through but many times, love wasn’t enough. That is what I mean. Your milage may vary.
