“Today’s latest Nazi directives out of the tRump regime’s Office of Personnel Management, which controls essentially all civilians in all U.S. government agencies, erases the final obstacle for civilian supervisors to proselytize their otherwise helpless subordinates with the weaponized gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Double edged sword. When a proselytizing supervisor begins his wind up, hand him an Atheist pamphlet!

If employees, for example, bring bibles to a staff meeting (it will happen), bring Richard Dawkins’ book, “The God Delusion,” or Chris Hitchens book, “God Is Not Great.”

Nothing they can do about it according to their own OPM memo and guidance.

Bring a Koran to a staff meeting.

Were I still working for the federal government, in the Deep South, at a major military Command, I’d be having a lot of fun with this one.

In a lively bullshit discussion with my Director, he brought up “creation,” wanting to see where I stood. I didn’t take the bait, just looked at him. He went on, “I know I didn’t come from no monkey!” I agreed, “that’s right, you didn’t, monkeys have tails. But you ARE one of the great apes!”

Oh what fun it is to ride a creator’s sleigh tonite!

The mind blowing part for me is that this guy was a Director! An engineering background no less! Yeah, I know, natural selection not part of the curriculum. That’s what all them there Southern Baptist preacher men are for! :-)

During town halls with the Commanding General the announcement to kick things off, “Please stand for the National anthem and remain standing for the invocation!” I would stand for the anthem and then sit back down for the invocation and pull out my phone while they were doing the “in Jesus name we pray, amen.”

Put a flying sphagetti monster on your desk, or an inspired Islamic saying, in Arabic, in your cubicle!

When someone starts proselytizing you, give them one of those cheap English version Korans you can buy for next to nothing. Put up a picture of the war-torn carnage in Gaza.

    And join your local union.

OPM’s “guidance” isn’t law. We still have laws that they have to follow for adverse actions. Your union knows what they are. Membership is cheap, $26 bucks a pay period. But it buys a lot of insurance.

If you’re a manager or supervisor, purchase professional legal insurance. Your organization, generally, is required to pay for half of it. It’s billed annually.

Christian Nationals are trying their best, but they’ll eat themselves! Wait and see!

    Support the MRFF!

I think that this is a good thing. We need God now more then ever. The MRFF only cares about publicity and money.

  3. Tom O July 28, 2025 at 9:08 pm

“I think that this is a good thing. We need God now more then ever” That’s YOUR opinion, ASSHOLE!! Want to explain how a supervisor pushing THEIR religion on a subordinate who doesn’t want to hear it will bring God into someone’s life?
I bet you’d feel differently if a Muslim supervisor tried to push his religion on his subordinates.

  4. an old Soldier who doesn't support the MRFF July 29, 2025 at 5:32 am

Hey Tom O you don’t know anything about me so watch your mouth. I served 25 years including being a chaplain’s assistant in Desert Storm. All the MRFF cares about is making money and Weinstein is nothing

Hey! We have bots! Welcome AI, hope you learn a think or two.

Old soldier, now now, aside from Tom O expressing their opinion, which is their right, they asked a perfectly reasonable question which I will copy here:
“Want to explain how a supervisor pushing THEIR religion on a subordinate who doesn’t want to hear it will bring God into someone’s life?”

LOL I know old soldier won’t answer. All they have is vitriol and their own opinions fueled by jealousy and libel.

I’ll answer as I’ve been in this position as a temp who really needed a permanent job (no, not the military so there were no protections, only lessons learned) and had a super proselytize over my job review.

I’ll also admit I considered faking it just to get the job as I’m sure many in the military will also consider doing. Here’s the thing, it’s not just faith, it’s the add-ons that trip you up.

What kind of add-ons? Oh, Emo Phillips has the best and most humorous take on the various splits that define a Nationalist Christian. That’s an adventure in discovery I will not spoil for you.

Suffice it to say there will be extreme pressure put on the subordinates of a proselytizing higher up. As I see it, no good will come of it, and to old soldiers point, there will be little to no real conversions meaning no new souls saved for their specific flavor of faith.

It’s amazing old soldier that you could serve for 25 years, see what you saw, do what you did and yet your heart is harder than Grinches before their heart learned the ultimate lesson – love.

    Weird, innit?

Old Soldier, you wrote, “I served 25 years including being a chaplain’s assistant in Desert Storm. All the MRFF cares about is making money and Weinstein is nothing.” Interesting, that . . . I served with a gentleman who had been a Chapel Manager before training into the Disaster Preparedness career field. We were both stationed at Andersen AFB, Guam at the time: my wife and I were stationed there from Typhoon Roy until Typhoon Russ (December 1987 through December 1990). He didn’t go into his religious views much at all, but I got the impression that he wasn’t very settled on any religion for himself.

Here’s the question I’d like to ask: whose version of God do we need? Just think of all the various different denominations of Christianity there are . . . if you’re a Protestant Christian, would you want a superior who’s a Roman Catholic or Orthodox Christian insisting on proselytizing you at work? I know my Jewish wife would be rather upset at having a Christian of any stripe getting up in her grill on the daily, telling her she’s goin’ to Hell if she don’t get right with Jesus! After all, according to Jews, Hell doesn’t exist and nobody has yet met the criteria by which Jews would know Mashiach has arrived.

If you value religious freedom as much as I, you would also want to ensure that nobody has to put up with their superior using their position to bully them into a religious practice or belief they don’t willingly embrace. So if MRFF weren’t there to prevent that kind of thing from happening, who would?

Brings up a funny story about “Desert Storm” where, during a staff call in a GP medium tent, the Chaplain brought up that it was getting harder to scrounge up a vehicle so he could go visit the troops.

The Commander’s answer? “We’re going to wrap that up Captain,” meaning, no more visiting the troops, we were about to move into Iraq, the move part was unspoken spoken of course. Pretty funny the look on the Chaplain’s face – shit just got serious.

The old soldier says we don’t know anything about him other than the idiocracy of his comments and his having “served” as a chaplain’s assistant during the Storm. If that was the highlight of your career, it was a pretty dull 25 years! Why weren’t you “in the fight?” rather than handing out stale wafers for the chaplain?

    Don’t forget your meds!

Mr. Weinstein, an Air Force Academy honor grad, his father a Naval Academy grad, his children Air Force Academy grads, served as a military JAG Officer for ten years, legal counsel in the Reagan White House, his son a State representative, yeah, I’d say pretty accomplished.

Over 90,000 MRFF clients disagree with your opinion of the MRFF Old Soldier. Most of them Christian, you know, the ones that don’t agree with pushing their religion on others.

    Sweet dreams. Take your meds!

I’ve been following the civilian take on the FOTUS EO and to say some folks were taken by surprise is understating the matter.

Guess poking this bear is leading to some unintended consequences in the private sector.

What the FOTUS and his minions keep saying, that the country is supportive of all they do isn’t as accurate as reported. I look forward to how they respond. Lots of church ladies up in my socials talking about plans and calling trees. LOL when you’ve riled up the church lady brigade you’d best have your surrender flag at the ready.

Does anyone remember silly movies (original and sequel) about White hero+heroine and Egyptian con man dealing with an Egyptian mummy come to life? I can’t remember the movie names, and they certainly weren’t recent. Got talked by friends into watching that nonsense. But I do remember that the con man wore several symbols of various religions hanging from his neck, the joke being, he was hedging his bets.

If I was a federal employee being proselytized by a superior, I’d be wearing a string of Buddhist prayer beads from my belt, a crucifix pendant and a Star of David on neck chains, have the Om symbol hooked on my badge lanyard, and promise to have that document finished by end of the workday, if it is the will of Allah. Oh, and have a stack of good English translations of the Tao Te Ching (a book containing much secular wisdom) to hand out to whoever wanted one. I’d also have a Protestant, not Catholic, Bible on my desk.

There is such a thing as malicious compliance. (I’d also be updating my resumé.)

  12. Grey One talks sass August 2, 2025 at 2:33 am

    Karen the Rock Whisperer,

I believe you are thinking of The Mummy with Brendan Fraser.

I know this because a FB group I belong to had a ‘celebrate all things Brendan Fraser’ post. Cultural appropriation aside (societal topic for another day because, yeah, things need fixing) The Mummy was one of the first monster movies I could watch without having to leave the room multiple times so it’s a therapeutic success for me, therefore a very positive memory. Let’s just say my milage was better than others.

That said, back to the topic at hand and at interest to my heart – malicious compliance.

All over the interwebz I’ve advocated for using the tactic of malicious compliance.

The FOTUS and MAGAverse are standing on a hair trigger of their own making. It is in my best interest that they implode taking all of them out, together.

If I could still hold a job and I had a desk I’d be decorating it with every deity that ever spoke to me during puberty (it was a long line at dream time, and yes, I spoke to each and every one of them). It would be glorious and thanks to the FOTUS, required. LOL

I support your efforts in the Resistance Karen the Rock Whisperer, wherever your grains of sand in the machinery of fascism land may they produce amazing results for the good of all and may it harm none – caveat – harm and hurt are not the same thing. :)

  15. Marion August 6, 2025 at 6:47 pm

More Trump hating bull$hit. Reminder: He won the 2024 election in an HISTORIC LANDSLIDE on both the popular and electoral college votes . That’s democracy.
My advice: find something good to post about, or just shut up and enjoy your life!

  16. Grey One talks sass August 7, 2025 at 1:47 am

I do wonder about Marion. I mean, Trump did not win in a landslide. Fact is more people either voted against him or flat out didn’t vote at all than actually voted for the orange hued felon. Their comment proves propaganda works.

Posting about our Constitutional rights being shredded before our eyes seems to be the work of patriots, not that Marion can see that. All they see are attacks on their lard and savior. I guess it’s First Amendment rights for me but not for thee.

Hey Marion, if the FOTUS hadn’t trashed the rule of law we wouldn’t be here. Guess you are fine with lawbreakers though seeing as you blindly support a felon who is most definitely on, in, and involved with the Epstein debacle.

Question Marion, did you think he’d actually release the files? The sex trafficking issue has been a hot spot used by MAGA for more than a minute (remember the Pizza place with the supposed dungeon that didn’t even have a basement?) so you had to have had some expectations. He also campaigned on the topic at rally after rally, promising to release the files in order to go after the LGBTQIA+ community and Democratic Party. And the Deep State, can’t forget them.

Once elected WeThePeople said where are the files? When he saw We didn’t care about who the clients were, only that they be held accountable he got cold feet, deferring to his handpicked DOJ handmaid, err Attorney General. To this day Trump runs when questioned by the press about the topic.

    Brave, brave Sir Donald.

Why would this person you see as the strongest most patriotic president ever run away from what he promised you Marion? Are you comfortable knowing your guy graped children, that he bragged about it in public? Supposedly that’s a hot topic for you MAGA’s, at least it was. Now y’all think Maxwell is innocent and needs a pardon?

Guess you need to rethink your priorities because you came here to declare your undying devotion to a human who is Not Like Us.

  17. J. P. August 7, 2025 at 6:49 pm

    Excuse me, Marion . . . I’ll be glad to make some cogent comments . . . as soon . . . as I . . . catch my . . . breath! That comment about the Tangerine Toddler winning the 2024 election ” . . . in an HISTORIC LANDSLIDE . . . . ”

    I’m starting to laugh again ! ! ! AAAAAAHH HAHAHAHAHAHA ! ! !

    It’s more of a HYSTERICAL LUNACY-SLIDE!

  18. Synergy August 9, 2025 at 1:37 pm

Marion’s got that Trump Diarrhea Syndrome!

They eat anything that rolls out of the Apricot Asshole’s fat white diaper-covered ass!

A mob boss that wears diapers! Only in America!

You taste the remnants on that constitution ink when you lick his ass? What’s that? Tastes like shit?

Keep wearing that red hat Marion. Makes it easier to spot stupid in a crowd! Wear it backwards – easier to lick some of that bronzer ass!

Ignorance calls for pity. Willful ignorance begs for the natural thinning of the gene pool. Trumpers doing a good job of it. Covid season around the corner – remember, no vaccine, no masks, and gather in large crowds.

Get your kids in home schooling, teach them all they need is prayer, do not vaccinate, and be sure they know the earth is flat and 6,000 years old! Eliminate all social programs and give more money to the rich – they need it for stock buy backs. Kick all the brown people out and give them white boys those Mexican jobs. When granny gets kicked out of the nursing home ‘cause her Medicaid got stopped – you take care of her!

Get rid of FEMA – no more help for natural disasters. National weather service – defund them! Those kids in the Texas flood? They’re in a better place!

Dumber than a fucking bag of hammers!

Oh, tell your boy, the Apricot Asshole, attack Iran again and watch what happens!
