Retired Service Member Reports Pressure to Attend “Melania” Screening

Dear M.R.F.F.

Since I am a Catholic and veteran in the army, was very disappointed and upset that the military in the USA and over-sea’s are requested to show the movie “Melania”.  The units are requested as a UAE (Unit Activity Event) to see the movie.  If they refuse they are put on a list as non-conforming to an activity.  
I happen to read the reviews in “The Week”, and it was considered a flop.  The movie was all about Melania and how she enjoys such a lavish life-style.  I do not see how this movie would reflect on the lives of the military?  In my option they are not role-models by any standards.  Perhaps the message is to promote Trumpism?
Can you tell me how the “Military Religious Freedom Foundation” is involved with this movie?  The article mentioned the foundation?

Thank you for standing up to decency and morals for our Country. I get the magazine called “The Week”, and they had a article that was titled “The price of Speaking out”.
The story is about a retiree who emailed a federal official to urge mercy for an Afghan asylum seeker facing deportation, said John Woodrow Cox in the Washington Post.  Hours later, the government began investigating him.  It is a scary story regarding free press. I can only relate this kind of action to the Nazi Germany in WWII. If you would like I can email or mail it the article to you.  
On the subject of the movie “Melania”, I want to thank you and your team for breaking the story.  More people need to learn about how corrupt our Government has become.
The Trump administration is “pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens (CBP and ICE). Trump is making the military most senior leaders complicit in his unlawful acts.  As an example, Admiral Holsey the Commander of the US Southern Command was “pushed out” with clashes with Defense Secretary Peter Hegseth over legality and methodology of operations that resulted in numerous deaths.
With no checks on his power, Trump has become “perhaps the most corrupt elected official in human history. The New Yorker has calculated that Trump made $4 billion by leveraging the presidency in just a year. Trump is dragging America down and I am concerned for the future of our nation and our children.
