MRFF Intervention Quickly Ends Commander’s Hand-Picked Officer/Speaker Spewing Christian Nationalist & MAGA Inspired Political/Religious Propaganda to Subordinates

A MRFF military installation representative was contacted by a group of 36 active-duty military members (including 21 Christians along with members of other faiths, agnostics, and non-believers) regarding highly unconstitutional, intentionally divisive and unit cohesion killing political/religious presentations by their Commander’s handpicked representative during mandatory unit assemblies.  On the advice of MRFF’s Installation Representative this group of clients contacted MRFF’s President/Founder Mikey Weinstein for assistance. 

After being contacted on March 21, 2025 regarding this situation, Mikey immediately contacted this unit’s Commander regarding our clients’ complaints and demanding an immediate end to this extremely unconstitutional political/religious propaganda campaign directed at subordinates.  On March 27, 2025, Mikey was emailed the rapid results of his discussion with the unit’s Commander by one of MRFF’s 36 clients:

Dear Mr. Weinstein and to the MRFF:

Thank you all for getting the win for us and for our military unit here at (military installation name withheld) after one of our staff officers at a mandatory unit assembly for (military unit name withheld) abused our constitutional rights. And he was our commander’s hand picked officer speaker.

This officer speaker was majorly attacking DEI in America and our military and said all we need to do instead of following “woke DEI” is to ask “what would Jesus do”? He also said that he hoped we all would accept Jesus as our savior as he had done years ago but even if not we all must admit that Jesus “was the world’s greatest philosopher.” He ended by saying that if none of that worked for us we can ask “what would Satan do?” and just do the opposite. So, BOOM, no DEI ever needed again just Jesus!

36 of us all military worked with our base MRFF rep to get to Mikey Weinstein for help. 21 of us are Christians with others from other religions and also some agnostics & nonbelievers. I am one of the Christians but don’t go to chapel much. And Mikey was even at a doctor’s appointment when we called but he still took our call for help too!

Mikey got ahold of our commander and registered our complaints because if any of us did it ourselves we would be totally screwed forever.

Great news! We just learned that this officer speaker is being formally disciplined but we don’t know the specifics and may not ever find out due to the Privacy Act. But it’s the talk of our unit and the lesson has been learned we hope!

Without our local MRFF rep and Mikey this would have never ended so well & so we all thank you at the MRFF for taking the load off of us and onto you to get the right thing done here!

In summarizing this clear victory of behalf of MRFF’s clients and the U.S. Constitution, Mikey issued a video statement:

They say the root of all evil is money… not in today’s America!  Not the destruction of our constitution, not the decimation of all our constitutional rights, because the source of all that is Christian Nationalism. We’re very thrilled that for these 36 military members they could reach out and we could respond and help them… SO DON’T LOSE HEART!
