Hi there, Colonel Feltman.
We at MRFF only really have one quick inquiry to broach with you about your outrageously wrong “conclusion” allowing Major Steve Lewis to continue his brazenly illicit and wholly unconstitutional Christian proselytizing utilizing his open Christian bible static display in the center of his USAF-provided work desk in his open bay office location for all of his USAF subordinates to see and “enjoy”.
You know how a military unit commander can often be likened to the quarterback on a football team, eh? Sure you do, Damon. For instance, you are the Commander of the 310th Space Wing where Colonel Lisa Johnson works directly under you. And, Colonel Lisa Johnson is the Commander of the Reserve National Security Space Institute where the bible-displaying king, Major Steve Lewis, works directly under her.
Anyway, with the foregoing analogy firmly in mind, here’s that one quick question we have for you to answer:
Do you think it would have been a real good idea for the National Football League (NFL) to have designated New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to have “reviewed” the “Deflate-gate” scandal for the NFL? You know, Damon, just like how YOU chose Colonel Lisa Johnson to “review” her very OWN actions in the current Major Steve Lewis bible displaying scandal?
Hey, good thing there’s no separation of “football and state” in the Constitution, right, Colonel Feltman?
This matter is hardly over. Let’s see what happens now, when an actual disinterested, third party DoD investigator, with NO glaringly obvious conflict of interest, takes a good, hard look at the utter disgrace you’ve done here, brother.

Mr. Weinstein,
Thank you for your concern regarding religious liberties at the Reserve National Security Space Institute. As pledged, I have reviewed the situation there. I have concluded that no abuse of liberties has occurred, and Maj Lewis’s behavior and the workplace environment at the RNSSI are well within the provisions of Air Force Instruction 1-1, Air Force Standards, paragraphs 2.11 and 2.12, “Free Exercise of Religion and Religious Accommodation” and “Balance of Free Exercise of Religion and Establishment Clause.”
Please direct any continued correspondence to AFRC Public Affairs at (number withheld) or AFRC Staff Judge Advocate at(number withheld).
Sincerely,
Damon Feltman
