Well, she is right. When someone accepts Christ as their Lord, then they can receive all the blessings that come with being a believer, like healing, restoration, deliverance. One of the names of God in the OT is Jehovah Rapha which means the Lord our Healer. There are other verses that say that He is our restorer and deliverer. The NT describes Christ as the Great Physician

Only Jesus knows how to take a broken life and heal, restore and make it to glorify Him and use it to minister to others pain and brokenness.

Rev Bob believes his worldview is the only one. We all know he believes this way. It is sad he will not acknowledge the existence of the rest of us or the fact we do not have to accept his backward viewpoint.

Of course he supports the blatant pushing of his flavor of faith. He is a spiritual rapist after all. Our rights to be free from his raping ways? Oh yeah, our rights don’t matter. Only his. Just ask him.

The Bible seems to support rape instead of helping rape victims. http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/says_about/rape.html

    G,
You are so full of it dude. I feel sorry for you. Thousands and thousands of women who were raped have been healed and set free by the power of Christ!! This woman speaker is just one of them.

  5. Rev Bob May 2, 2016 at 5:25 pm

    Connie,

I think the term “spiritual rape” has been trademarked by MRFF, because they are the only ones who use it.

I would like to see what you would do Connie, if you are on a city bus and Christian flash mob starts singing Amazing Grace, or you are on a plane with a choir from a Christian university and they start singing Christian songs or hymns during the flight. I guess you would be spiritually raped big time then Connie and you cannot do anything about it except tell them to shut up but what if they don’t?

The biggest spiritual rape will come when you stand before God on judgment day, what will you do then Connie?

  6. G May 2, 2016 at 5:28 pm

You are full of it Rev Bob. Do you have statistic reports to back up your statement that religion has help women recover?

  7. G May 2, 2016 at 5:49 pm

Rev Bob, how many people lost their religious faith after being raped and no longer believe there is a god? Kind of like many soldiers who went to war and lost their religious beliefs after going through something like that.

  8. Connie May 2, 2016 at 6:35 pm

Was anyone else totally creeped out by the joy Rev Bob took in describing how I would be raped by a gang of Christians forcing their beliefs on me? I know it made me uncomfortable to think that anyone would take joy in what would be harmful to another human. Others have named you evil. I have to agree.

Preacher man, you are not correct in your belief that MRFF is the only organization using the phrase spiritual rape. In my circles, the phrase is used everywhere to describe people like you. There are even web pages dedicated to helping those who’ve fled the abusive practices of the Evangelical church. Survivors they call themselves. How is your faith promoting good in the world again?

My relationship with Deity is fine, thank you very much. I understand your pornographic need to see me burning in your idea of hell. . I already told you, I’ve been to hell many times. I keep getting kicked out for being too bright.

“I already told you, I’ve been to hell many times. I keep getting kicked out for being too bright.”

Connie, the devil would not people like you in Hades, because he couldn’t stand competition because you are too smart for him

  10. Rev Bob May 2, 2016 at 9:18 pm

What bothers me is that for a woman who endured so much, being sexually trafficted etc, and then for Mikey to call her a spiritual rapist is an insult to her. He has no character at all. For a person who went to the Air Force Academy, he is a man without honor, only hate which oozes off of him!

I wonder what Connie would do if she found herself on this subway?

As long as the singers are on key, I enjoy the music you hate filled traitor.

So no apology for wanting to see me raped you piece of cosmic detritus. May the cleaners of the Universe find you and wipe your filth away with the rag of facts.

(I know – not my best metaphor but it’s better than the FU I really wanted to yell at the man.)

  13. Rev Bob May 3, 2016 at 6:53 am

    Connie,
Of course I would not want you to be physically raped, but if you are referring to “spiritual rape” then yes I would like to have people share their faith in Christ with you, for Jesus said that we need to share the hope that we have inside you.

I am not hate filled, do I hate sin or course I do, what Christian does not, but do I hate you, of course not, if anything I feel sorry and pity for you because Satan has so blinded you and deceived you into believing a lie is the truth.

  14. Connie May 3, 2016 at 11:59 am

I was always taught any apology that is followed by a ‘but’ means nothing. In fact less than nothing.

You don’t want to see me raped but insist I need to “hear” the word of your deity, forcibly if need be. Uh huh.

Preacher man, I know the message you are pushing. My heart would be glad except I know the emptiness behind your words. You expect others to do as you say, not as you do.

Your concept of evil is Lucifer, Prince of Lies. And what do you do? Tell the truth or spread lies? So far my experience is you lie.

Get thee behind me preacher man. Your words of salvation are as empty as your soul.

  15. Rev Bob May 3, 2016 at 12:43 pm

    Connie,

I tell the truth which is found in the Word of Truth, called the bible. There is no lie found in the bible, unless there is a story of someone who lied to teach the truth.

I do not have to answer to you, only to God, and He has already declared me righteous in Christ. Through the eyes of Christ, I and every Christian is seen as blameless, perfect, righteous because of the shed blood of Christ on the cross which cleanses me from all sin and unrighteousness.

  16. G May 3, 2016 at 5:37 pm

Rev Bob, there are a lot of people who graduate from the AFA who had no honor and no character when they committed violating the separation of state and religion>

Spirtitural rape? What about the systematic physical rape of military women and men that had been going on for a long time and those military high ranking NCOs and officers had no character and honor to do anything about it?

“I tell the truth which is found in the Word of Truth, called the bible. There is no lie found in the bible, unless there is a story of someone who lied to teach the truth.”

Yeah Rev Bob, you lied, manipulated, and twisted the scriptures in one of the prior MRFF stories and Connie destroyed your knowledge of the scripture. So much for all your talk about you telling the truth.

“He has already declared me righteous in Christ. Through the eyes of Christ, I and every Christian is seen as blameless, perfect, righteous because of the shed blood of Christ on the cross which cleanses me from all sin and unrighteousness.”

Did God personally come to you and declared you righteous Rev Bob? Funny how just about everyone has stated that they were declared righteous by God. In addition, I don’t see sin being gone from this world even though Christ died for our sin. Doesn’t add up Rev Bob.

Connie and G-“Rev” Bob is full of it with a capital “S.” I guess he’s never bothered to LISTEN to the words of “Til It Happens To You.” You’re spot on when you conclude that he’s interested in spewing only HIS flavor of Christian belief. I’m a Christian of a different flavor, and from my youth I was taught the “Great Commandment” (i.e. love one another as I have loved you). He lives by the “Great Commission” (i.e. go and make disciples of all [men]). Most historic mainstream Christian churches accept the former, but most Evangelicals, Dominionists, Calvinists, Dispensationalists, and the other 30,000 Christian splinter groups accept the latter. I also use a Bible with the Old Testament Apocrypha which contains a book by an unknown author named ben-Sirach. It’s mostly proverbs and advice to the author’s son. My favorite verse is something all faith-healing believers should meditate on: “If a man falls into sin in the eyes of the Lord, let him submit to the care of the physician.” For what it’s worth…

  18. G May 3, 2016 at 5:43 pm

Nice information about your favorite verse, Angela.

  19. jimbo May 4, 2016 at 4:46 pm

From Connie, “how many people lost their religious faith after being raped and no longer believe there is a god?” Good question, this is truly ‘spiritual healing’. Their gods command the rapist, too.
