I just read where the military yielded to an atheist on a complaint about a post by military chaplains. I can only say I am grateful that our forefathers who fought in the past wars were not as cowardly as our military leaders of today are.  Religious rights and speech are as acceptable as is atheist speech.  If indeed there is to be a “separation of church and state ” then why did our founding fathers allow and encourage prayer in the opening of congress, the opening of the Supreme Court and other government functions?

Response from MRFF Advisory Board Member Mike Farrell

Hi (name withheld),

You got bad information. There’s a lot of it flying around, so I wanted to get back to you about it. This baloney about our being an atheist organization and shutting down chaplains is nonsense put out by either a crank or a fundamentalist who wants to push his own agenda.

We certainly agree with you that all have the right to free speech.

If you’d like to know more, drop a line.

Mike Farrell

(MRFF Board of Advisors)

There’s just no place for your Existence!
Your a political hack with a dangerous agenda. If you’re not an Atheist and you’re a fool and probably never served in the military.

So, Jay Marine is or was in the Marines because his grammar isn’t quite up to snuff and he couldn’t get a job anywhere else? Not quite sure what point he was trying to get across but he should follow his Commander In Chief`s guidance and drink bleach! Say a prayer first though!

Jay: you need a copy of the constitution and a dictionary. Most of MRFF’s members, board, and clients are Christians. Their agenda is freedom of religion and respect for military rules and the law. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your righteous indignation and self-pity party.
