Dear MRFF,   With regard to the Wreaths Across America.   I suppose the next thing they will say is that, “The wreaths aren’t a Christian symbol.” So it’s a pagan thing, has nothing to do with Christ. That’s fine with me — make them say it, or maybe they can just knock it off. We all know it’s more of the same Christian dominionism theology, and all they do is lie, like their whole BS religion, nothing but a bunch of lies. When I was a child Christmas used to be fun, then I learned I was going to hell, then I told them to go to hell, and felt better for it. Now they say, Merry Christmas like it’s some sort of threat and you’d better respond in a like manner or else. Else what?   When will people learn, 10, 100, 1000 years from now?   Thanks for not quitting. This skirmish is really a delaying action, but at least you stuck a finger in their eye, and perhaps someone will start thinking. There has to be a cost, and you are giving it to them.

    Merry Christmas wreaths of America.

I love the way this writer refuses to name himself. I spent 20 years in the military and lost some good friends in combat. Your foundation needs to drop your ridiculous complaint about Wreath Across America. You can find another way to get your 15 minutes of fame to draw attention to your organization. There are wreaths placed at the Tomb of the Unknowns on many occasions. Are you going after that next? Show some respect for the men and women that died to ensure you have those rights you are abusing. If a wreath is placed on a grave with the Star of David, I feel pretty sure, the person putting it there did not do it intentionally or with any disrespect. Sometime accidents happen. Stop trying to find another way to divide America.

The number of amazingly dumb things Jim Fentress are amazing in their one comment.

    1. “ I love the way this writer refuses to name himself”

Reply: all letter writers names are withheld to protect the sender, even if the sender is a piece of dog excrement. This is standard operating procedure.

    2. “ There are wreaths placed at the Tomb of the Unknowns on many occasions. Are you going after that next? ”

Reply: occupants in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are… unknown. Meaning their identity including if they practiced a faith is… unknown.

    3. “Show some respect for the men and women that died to ensure you have those rights you are abusing.”

Reply: you said that in one breath and this in the next “ If a wreath is placed on a grave with the Star of David, I feel pretty sure, the person putting it there did not do it intentionally or with any disrespect.”

Do you even listen to yourself before you pretzel your way out of demanding We The People allow Christianists to defile graves of Our veterans who have a faith other than their own?

Do your homework. You tried to sound clever. You failed.

I was reminded that patriotism and honoring our dead for their service are strong reasons for wreath placement at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.

Google is my friend. The library in the cloud.

Your writing sucks. You shouldn’t try to act superior to others… because you are not.
The bottom line is this: You are one of a very few people who share a really stupid perspective. You will always be the minority, you will always lose, you will always be mad, and you will always be spinning your wheels wasting your time trying to change things that only matter to you and a few others. If anything you and MRFF have pretty much guaranteed that Wreaths Across America donations increase this year and next, and can expect more wreaths on all graves… so really good job there. I donated $75 this year to Wreaths in Mikey’s name. Next year I’ll donate $150 and include yours. If your asinine organization felt passionate about this cause, you all went about it the wrong way. The first step would have been working with Wreaths Across to try and find some happy compromise or solution. Instead, you pissed off the majority of America and actually made it worse for yourselves as there will be an influx in wreath donations and sentiment this year and next. If anything, Wreaths owes MRFF a debt of gratitude.
