This goes back more than 16 years. To me, it’s 56 years when a supervisor tried to make me go to his church. As a Jewish enlisted man in the USAF, I had no choice: I volunteered for Vietnam to get away from him. Best choice of my life looking back. And that is why I support MRFF. What I found was that it was hard to get people to believe what was right in front of them. The Christian takeover of homeschooling was brutal, you either followed their leaders down the rabbit hole or you were thrown out. The lobbying was blatant, they were demolishing established groups and moving them near state capitols with new leadership and issues that had nothing to do with homeschooling. A lot of people never knew what hit them. When I tried to put all the puzzle pieces together no one wanted to hear it. It was ‘too divisive’, ‘anti-Christian’ and, I suppose, just plain unbelievable that people who had the same homeschooling in common were being split along religious lines. I didn’t call it Christian Nationalism then, I termed it Theopolitics. (name withheld) was calling it Dominionism, or Kingdom theology. Others used Rushdooney’s Reconstruction Theology. I guess no matter what you call it, its happening and folks are struggling to put a name on it. I think you’ve done a lot to make people listen and realize this is a problem, not some kind of political name calling, and I appreciate every bit of it. Stepping down from soapbox
