Mikey:

I deeply appreciate your quick response to my concerns at the VA. I sent the email and within a blink of an eye you had asked me to call you. As a service connected disabled veteran, I understand there are a myriad of veterans and service members from a plethora of religions and within those religions various sects and denominations that carry many different beliefs. The one thing that unites us is the mission that we agree to when we sign that dotted line and it is important that we are all represented.

When there are displays at the VA that are explicitly slanted towards one religion it not only alienates those from outside that religion, but divides the overall patient population as we all are in the hospital for the purpose of healing.

This wasn’t the first time your organization has helped my family as my then wife was being proselytized in her workplace many years ago. I know there are other service members and veterans out there are many faiths and non-faith that could use your organization to fight against those that use their power to push their personal religious beliefs. Once again, thank you for your help.

Kind Regards,

(MRFF Client’s name withheld)
