Why don’t you stop hiding behind your titles and face the the 38 million people you hate so much. This country has no room for hate and as easy as it would be for to pack your trash and find another place to live you’d rather hide behind your titles and the constitution. Your a disgrace and your day of judgement will come like everyone else’s. I’ll continue to pray for you……

Dear (name withheld),
I would like you to take a closer look at the argument you’ve made. First of all, you argue that Mikey is a coward and a hateful person. What coward would have the courage to put his own life on the line to defend their convictions? Every day he receives threats against his life from “good Christians” with similar views to your own. To continue to take that risk requires no small amount of courage. About hate…wouldn’t you say it’s hateful to spew vitriol against another person and tell them they are unwelcome in their own country? Clearly, if any party involved here is hateful you would be it.
Aside from that foolishness, let’s think about what being American actually means. From your perspective it seems that to be American requires a citizen to be a Christian. If you didn’t have this view, then you would support the Constitution which allows all Americans the freedom to believe or not believe in whatever they so desire. Mikey doesn’t hide behind the Constitution. He stands in front of it ready to catch bullets in his chest in order to keep it intact, while others would rather have it, and the principles of liberty and justice for all torn to shreds for the sake of theocracy. Pray all you’d like, but if you want to live in a country that expunges its citizens based on religious convictions, move to Iran.
Sincerely,

Ah, (name withheld),
In the unlikely event this response reaches you, let me reassure you that your message was received.
While not the most ignorant note I’ve seen recently, I’d like you to know you’re in the running. To presume to speak for 38 million people in a country that “has no room for hate” with such complete antipathy can only be topped by ending it with a promise to pray.
I’d suggest, as an alternative, that you pray for enlightenment. But then, I’ve always been an optimist.
Best,

Wow, round of applause! What a great speech. Do you have yours written by someone else like Obama does?
You must be connected to that administration somehow. There’s no way that much could come from me stating that mikey does not have a direct e-mail and that he hides behind his title and of course the coward part which got under some of that tough skin y’all seem to have.
I never once threatened anyone, I never said he was unwelcome, & I never said every American should be a Christian, You have no idea where I stand as to religious freedom. So to you, Rick and that other character that love to elaborate and put words into peoples mouths why don’t you let Mikey answer for himself? That’s the whole reason I e-mailed my opinion (which is my right) to him in the first place. It was a simple question with some simple statements. If you’d like I will gladly copy and paste the article that initiated my response. Maybe then you’ll understand where I’m coming from. Nice title by the way.
Respectfully Submitted,

I do all my own writing. Feel free to check out some of my other work here if you have any doubts.
Our connection to the Obama administration is as imagined as your ideations of our cowardice.
You never said anything about Mikey being unwelcomed, huh? How did you intend this direct quote from your initial e-mail to be understood:
“pack your trash and find another place to live”
Last question, in what way do you think Mikey is hiding behind anything? He sent you a message from his direct e-mail yesterday and I cc’d him on my first e-mail to you to be sure you had it. In case that’s still beyond your grasp, here it is again: [email protected]. He’s a busy man, and generally doesn’t waste his time getting involved in pointless exchanges with simple detractors. You’d have to step up your writing and arguments by a few notches to get to the point of deserving a personal response.
