Semper Fi.
Get over the political correctness. I’m so tired of my country walking on eggshells over so many different subjects. We have lost our way to the radical left who have never been in a a fist fight let alone a fire fight. I’m so glad that I’m 71, have fought for my country and will not live to see its demise in another thirty years because of the likes of you.

Sincerely,
(name withheld)

Hi (name withheld),

Rick Baker here. I’m a volunteer for MRFF to help ensure that all correspondence is answered courteously and in a timely fashion. I am a former Air Force Officer and Rescue Pilot with two combat tours in Vietnam. I have seen some firefights. Factually, many of our MRFF Volunteers are former military with combat experience. Some, including myself, with wounds and other injuries.

MRFF is far from politically correct. Actually we are guided by the US Constitution and all the rulings, decisions and interpretations made by the US Supreme Court relative to the First Amendment.

I take it by your “Semper Fi” remark that you must have been a Marine on active duty. If so, thank you for your service to America.

(name withheld), sometimes it takes walking on eggshells to keep from walking on cracked skulls. Our job is to guarantee religious freedom in the armed forces. Not just Christian freedom, or Muslim freedom or Pagan freedom, but freedom of all beliefs, religious or secular. This ain’t easy. But thousands of our young troops who have found themselves in the clutches of overly religious supervisors who have undertaken command centered and coercive Christian proselytizing have filed complaints with MRFF to seek help. The number is over 27,000.

I can assure you that America’s demise will not be caused by MRFF but rather by those who oppose other religions with their own set of exclusive doctrines not a whole lot less frightening than Islam.

I too, am 71 years old but I am renewed by my opportunity to assist our young troops in fighting the real enemy and not their religion.

May I suggest that a shot or two of Southern Comfort will help to bring you around to a more mellow view of what is happening.

Hang in there,

Rick Baker

Well, if the truth be known, I live in the US because of the Crusades. The reason: The pope (I think it was Adrian IV) gave Ireland to England because the Irish wouldn’t pay the Peter’s Pence and refused to send men to the Crusades, probably because they accurately realized it was supid.

You people are LIARS, I challenge you to put the two “Crusader” shields next to each other on a media release, one from the mass murderer in Norway and the one of the VMFA-122 Crusaders and then say we used the SAME symbol. Liars. You don’t represent the military which I porudly serve. Dispicable. To say in a headline that we went to the same symbol is a lie and you should retract the statement or you may face legal action.

Also, you wouldn’t know the first amendment if it hit you in the head. I don’t believe the US Constitution mentions anything about separation of church and state, it simply states that congress will make no law respecting the establishment of religion or the free exercise thereof…….meaning there would be no state religion. You so called scholars should read the constitution for what it says, not what you wish it meant. Btw you can read the letter where President Thomas Jefferson explains this to the Danbury baptists online. Leave the Marine Corps and their valiant history alone.

First of all, I don’t know anything about Peters Pence but I don’t agree that the Crusades were “Stupid”… They were set in motion by Alexius Comnemnus the Eastern Holy Roman Empires Leader whose had already lost lands in the East including Syria and Jerusalem and the Muslim Hoardes along with Seljuk Turk’s were incringing on and had seized these Lands… He wrote a correspondence to Pope Urban II asking for military help… After an empassioned speech at Clermont, France many men took up the Cross in order to free their Christian Brothers and Sisters In the Holy Land from the abuse and oppression under Islamic rule… All of the Crusades paid their own way to survive the perilous Three year journey it took to arrive there… Many wealthy Nobleman sold their own properties to pay for supplies, etc. They were called “The Franks” after seizing Jerusalem in1099 … The term “Crusaders” came much later… It was strictly a Spiritual Quest knowing that they were promised Salvation if they took up the Cross… In the Third Crusade Richard Plantagenet (The Lion Heart) said,” If I could sell London, I would have”…

Your threat is Islam and its belief system. Not each other. The ” quran ” States, and followers of it show what muslims think of ANYONE outside of its beliefs. The ” quran ” is crime inciting material. Internationally. Muslims can’t even agree on what Islam or the Hadith means. Muslims want Sharia law ( noting living conditions in areas of Mideast and treatment of others) ) globally. Iran has previously stated ” when we get the bomb, the world will be under new management”.
As in the original 13 ( colonies)…. unite or die. Islam is a global threat. As are muslims themselves entering the US.
