Dear Military Religious Freedom Foundation,

It’s antichristian pos groups like yourself that suck the life and history out of America. Stop being a bunch of politically correct pussies crying poor me when you’re offended by something the majority in this country believes in. Fuck you and your organization if you don’t like the things the majority in this country believes in get the fuck out of this country and stop fucking it up for everyone else

(name withheld)

Dear “I lack the courage of my convictions, so I didn’t sign my name,”

Thank you for your exceedingly pleasant note. I never cease to be amused by fools, like you, who are so intellectually and morally vacuous they can’t be bothered to sort out the truth.

Your moronic implication that “the majority” should determine things for the military and for this nation flies in the face of reason; if we followed that plan neither African Americans nor women would be allowed to vote today, and more than likely you’d be forced to take your medications. This is precisely why we have the phrase, “the tyranny of the majority.” The reality is that we have a Constitution, a body of laws and military regulations – these all mandate a separation between Church and State. Here’s what Founding Father James Madison had to say: “The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe with blood for centuries.”

Oh, and one more thing: 96% of our clients are Christians. We defend the religious rights all military personnel and veterans, including Christians. But the sick reality is that Fundamentalist Christians, like you, believe that you have the right to practice religious predation, to inflict your beliefs on everyone else; the truth is that you do not have this right.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I am reminded just how thankful I am that the Fundamentalist Christian Taliban in America does not have the right to tell me or anyone else how to live our lives.

Wishing you Happy Holidays – maybe Santa Clause will bring you a conscience, or at least the courage of your convictions, this year!

Most Sincerely,
Akiva David Miller
